Gender equality is a sore issue, all over the world – and specifically in the Balkans. At a time when women still have to struggle simply for being as much respected as men and when some people are harshly discriminated for their sexual orientation, many associations are fighting for respect and tolerance – and, after all: for basic human rights.

Jovan would like to emphasize the importance of talking about gender equality in terms of equality of people of all genders not only men and women and he would like to bring intersectional approach to this topic which he thinks is very much neglected both in the region where he comes from as well as in Europe.
